Tried out a few marks under the kingsferry bridge today.... hmmmm

Saw a post that explained that it should be a place to try out.

http://jonjustin.com/Jon/node/101

well got there at low tide to scope out the features, started off at the jetty and could see that the legs of the bridge looked fairly attractive, the rest of the area was just flat mud (weights were sinking about 4-6 inches on impact).

Kingsferry Bridge - Isle of Sheppey, Kent
Isle of Sheppey, Kent

source http://www.total-fishing.com/Fisheries.aspx?Category=sea&ID=kingsferry_b...

KINGSFERRY Bridge is the only connection

between the Isle of Sheppey and the mainland in Kent. Not only is it a well-known landmark, it offers some top action for anglers too.
The stretch of river that runs under the bridge is actually the Swale and because there is open sea either side of it, it offers some bizarre tide races with the sea running in both directions and creating natural food traps.

A Day at Broadstairs

Once again, another cold, windy day, so I thought I'd take the kids to the beach and I'd get a chance to try out my new rods, so we packed up ready to go... Tide times when odd so when we got there the tide was already going out fast.

Top kent fishing spots (http://kent.greatbritishlife.co.uk/article/get-hooked-top-kent-sea-fishi...)

Much of the Kent coast offers excellent fishing, but here are a few particularly good spots to try your luck.

Dungeness and Denge Marsh beaches
Considered to be one of the top sea fishing venues in the country. Excellent fishing for most species. Follow the A2070 and then the A259 from Ashford

Sheerness Beach, Isle of Sheppey
This beach offers very good all-year round fishing and is a great place to try your luck for bass. Signposted on the A249 northbound.
